How to play

Higher or lower

Higher or lower is a quick quiz on real circuit facts.

A new round every day at midnight, the same for everyone.

How it works

  1. 1Two circuits and one real fact: length, corners, race laps, first Grand Prix or the pole time.
  2. 2Call the second circuit against the first: longer or shorter, more or fewer, earlier or later, quicker or slower.
  3. 3The daily ten is the same for everyone and a miss costs a point. In Endless, one wrong call ends the run.

Scoring

Each round shows one circuit's fact (lap length, corners, race laps, the year of its first Grand Prix or its 2025 pole lap) and asks how a second circuit compares. The daily ten are the same for everyone and scored out of ten: a miss costs a point, not the round. In Endless mode a single wrong call ends the run, and your longest run is kept.

Arrow keys work too. The daily ten resets at midnight.

Tips

  • Street circuits tend to be short, with a lot of corners.
  • The oldest venues held their first Grand Prix in 1950.
  • Pole laps follow lap length, but not exactly: the mix of corners and straights matters too.
