About
Lapdle
Lapdle is a daily racing line challenge: a set of short, free games on real circuits for anyone who enjoys a good racing line. It plays in the browser, with no account and no download.
The games
Every day brings a new set, the same for everyone, and a few more to play whenever you like.
- Daily Quali: Today's circuit, six laps for a medal.
- Mystery circuit: Name the circuit from a few corners.
- Pit stop: Four wheels, then go on green.
- Higher or lower: Ten calls on real circuit facts.
- Braking point: Five big stops, brake as late as you dare.
- Lights out: Five lights, one tap.
How the circuits are made
Each circuit is traced from real map data and drawn from above with its kerbs, run-off and surroundings. The car follows your line under a physics model with limits on grip, braking, cornering and power, so a better line really is faster. The perfect lap you chase is the fastest line that model can find.
